About My Studio
Welcome to my online studio, where I post paintings of florals, portraits, landscapes, studies of the masters, murals, and playful acrylic pours. I’m a veteran visual artist, formally from the farmlands of NJ and currently located in Eastern PA. Stylistically, I stay close to realism but occasionally veer off and add a bit of humor to my paintings.
Over the years, I was awarded a BFA in drawing and two Masters degrees in education. I worked in Special Education for over twenty years, first as a teacher, then as a supervisor and principal. During that time I raised four fine sons and founded “Arts Abilities” where I employ simple painting techniques to show people of all ages and ability levels that they too can produce pieces worthy of frames and permanent wall space. My goal is to unleash creativity in people through a variety of artistic expressions and media. My services include: classical instruction for all levels, supported studio time, consultation and therapeutic support for students with special needs, plein air events, and art parties for any occasion.
